The quality control in the manufacture of this product is barely acceptable. Good puncture proof tires are available if you are willing to spend the money. I ended up spending more than I paid for the tire to have the right parts and mounting tool. It seems to be running well, but I haven't ridden it enough miles to understand how it actually works.
- A solid rubber tire is better than an inflated tire in terms of shatter and explosion protection. Lower rolling resistance for faster speed.
