I needed a Maybelline Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner Pencil. I have read the answers to the questions and I have been assured that this sharpener is suitable for this pencil. It is not! While I love eyeliner, I haven't found a pencil sharpener that works with Lasting Drama gel eyeliner. Any sharpener chews it up and renders the eyeliner useless. So I won't be buying them again which is a shame because the colors are great and they're really smooth the first few times. If Maybelline makes an eyeliner pencil, they should also make a sharpener that really sharpens it. In addition, the sharpener works well with other products.
