Review on ๐Ÿ›๏ธ Experience Luxurious Comfort with TEMPUR-Home Medium-Soft Down Pillow for Queen Bed, in Classic White Shade by Andrea Gleason

Revainrating 5 out of 5

After sleeping with this pillow for a couple of weeks I am re-writing my review.

I had severe neck pain for months so I collapsed and paid a lot of money for this pillow instead of waiting for Memorial Day or Labor Day when they usually sell 2 pillows for 1 . These sales are not on Revain, only on the Tempur-Pedic official website. So I originally wrote a 2 star review for this pillow because it went flat after just 20 minutes and my head was practically flat on the mattress. However, after sleeping on it for a few weeks, I found I had to rewrite my review. Good first. As you probably already know, the pillow consists of two outer layers of down and a very soft layer of Tempur material in the middle. When I first thought about it, I thought: OMG! Oh practical! But after just a few minutes my head is almost on the bed, the fluff evens out pretty quickly. But I've never owned a feather pillow, and I've found that almost all feather pillows have, at least from what I've read. Since this is my first down pillow, I didn't realize you could compress and compress it to better fit your head. After that I found that the pillow can last a lot longer until you need to adjust it. And it stays comfortable for much longer when used this way. I sleep on my side so I always sleep with my hand under the pillow which makes my hand numb at night. But for some reason this pillow doesn't make my arm go numb and I sleep with my arm underneath it all night. The fluff needs to be soft enough to prevent this I think. All I know is that in a few weeks I won't have any more painful tingling and pins and needles. And my neck feels like it's getting better. I think this is a very good pillow, but the price is way too high! IMHO. Can't fault this pillow, it was rated at about 7" loft but mine was about 4". I called Tempur-Pedic customer service to see if they could do anything about the lack of an attic. I asked if I could get or buy an extra piece of memory foam to add but they just said send it back to Revain. What I felt was pretty lame. When a customer pays that much for a pillow, you should at least understand their customer service a little. This problem started before I realized that the pillow can be compressed to solve this problem. It would be nice if they told me about it in the CS department. But I figured it out myself after reading countless reviews. Finally, everyone should know that Tempur-Pedic sold all of their pillows at 2 for 1 on Labor Day. Two pillows for $150, not the insane price of $150 for one pillow. I read from another reviewer that they do this on Memorial Day as well. Maybe another holiday. So if like most of us you're on a tight budget and can wait until your vacation, you should. However, I wouldn't expect them to go on sale for Christmas, but who knows.
