I wanted something that would keep my long hair pulled back out of my face and simple elastic rubber bands just didn't work without pulling my hair out. The fabric was important for casual or more formal wear. Silk hair bands are just the ticket. Rinses off easily, drying time is minimal, hair does not twitch when removed. I would highly recommend this brand and fabric choice.
