I've had this Lovcube 10 inch digital photo frame for a few days now and I absolutely love it. The screen has a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, which seemed a bit small to me. However, the images on this photo frame are crisp, clear and vibrant. Images remain clearly visible at a wide angle, both horizontally and vertically. I found the menus easy to navigate and understand and didn't have to open the subtle manual once I got the device. My favorite way of viewing pictures is by showing the time/date on the screen in the bottom right corner - I love having that easy to read clock right there. (See my photo.) This 10-inch Lovcube display has a nice on-screen menu that can be accessed by pressing the home button on the remote. You can play videos, music and show photos and use this photo frame as a large desk clock. And it even has an alarm clock! I played a few videos on the lovecube frame and found that 720p videos played without any issues. However, it only plays 1080p videos that I encoded at 20Mbps or less. I tried playing some 1080p videos that I encoded at 24Mbps but they wouldn't play. This display frame also doesn't play 4K (2160p) video, but the specs say it's capped at 1080p, so I wasn't expecting 4K playback. Surprisingly, the audio I get with videos is loud and clear. Of course there isn't much bass, but the small built-in speaker sounds clear and easy to hear. Although the manual for the device says it's limited to using 32MB SD cards and USB drives, I had no problems with a 128MB USB drive. Drive. Works perfectly! I checked the power consumption of this 10 inch Lovcube photo frame and found that the photo display consumes 3.5 watts. The video demo consumed slightly more power, between 3.7 and 3.8 watts. Power consumption might be worth considering if you leave the device on all the time. The device has a nice motion sensor feature that turns off the screen when there's no movement around. This was easy to set up in the Lovcube menu. Speaking of which, I tried the device's beautiful screen time/calendar. It would be perfect to have on your desktop while flipping through family photos. (Indeed, the photo viewer is very nice!) However, the on-screen clock/calendar function disappears at midnight and you have to go into the menu and select it again every day. As soon as you turn it on, your photos will start playing from scratch - not a big deal if you have, say, 25 photos on your device. But there were several thousand photos on my 128GB USB drive, so when I reset the time/calendar, I kept seeing the same photos over and over again. This is really my biggest complaint about the Lovcube photo frame. This, as well as the inability to play 1080p videos encoded at 24Mbps. Another small issue is that the remote control is a bit sluggish. However, this always works. Overall, Lovcube 10 inch digital photo frame is pretty good and has many features. Definitely worth the price.
