So I bought this to replace my 20 year old, kicked, same version of this pickup. I had a suspicion that my old man wasn't reading correctly. So I got this new one. I am pleased to report that the 20 year old reads exactly like this new one. So now I have a replacement for my other car. The only thing I don't like about this model compared to the old one, my old one had a small release valve. So it keeps the needle where pressure was until you press the trigger. Very convenient. And I'm sorry I didn't notice this in this new version. Overall I am very satisfied with this product. If you have a car and tires and you want them to last a long time, having the right tire pressure is important.
