Review on Versatile And Roomy Fanny Pack With Water Bottle Holder For Outdoor Enthusiasts by Paul Koehler

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Pretty much as expected!

I needed to find a better way to carry my spare camera gear than on my shoulders and around my neck. Got this to carry a couple of lenses, spare battery, and stuff. Very much as advertised. The water bottle pouch on left side was a tight fit for the Canon EF 24-105mm f/4L lens, but it worked. Put the 50mm and 85mm in the main compartment with right pocket for 2 extra batteries. Not sure I'll ever carry that many lenses again, but it worked. [Note: Main pocket was too small for the Canon 80D camera with small lens!] Wondering about max waist size - it is 44 inches! Trust me on this. Not 5 stars because the snap-buckle and strap adjustments while durable are awkward to make while wearing the pack. (Take it off, adjust, put on again, and repeat as needed.) I also had two instances when the snap together on the buckle didn't quite snap all the way together. I caught it both times and it seems better now; perhaps it was still too new and I had quite a load of weight with three lenses in it, but it may require attention until and I can be confident in it. Photos as example of size/scale of bag vs. camera may not be relevant for all, and this may become a fine fanny pack for general use. No matter what, it was priced at a point worth trying and didn't disappoint.

Pros
  • Ideal for hiking, biking, running, and other outdoor activities
Cons
  • May not fit all phone sizes
