Roomy fit and beauty all around! It's cut like a shirt; the buttons lie slightly on the stomach and are long enough to look good when plugged in. 3X is really a full 3X and hasn't shrunk (yet) after 3 or 4 washes. I wouldn't buy a size up, but maybe a size down if you like wearing it as a jacket. Machine wash and dry well with a regular load of dark colored clothing (sink or swim in my house, no special wash treatment). Hangs beautifully without ironing, unlike some other cheap flannel shirts that tumble dry into a stiff ball of folds. I will buy any color.
