I bought it on February 10, 2017. It just broke on July 30, 2021. It was used at least 6 times a day on average, almost always super stretched to the limit. full reach to reach the locks from my wheelchair. Also, it was hung on the outside of the backpack dozens of times, where the cord had to stretch a bit (and stretch up and down from the impact) when I carried it with me. Also, more than once it got stuck on the door when I was leaving, or the door slammed behind me with the key still in the lock. This has REALLY worked. It's super great. It didn't weaken visually or functionally before it broke, it just broke at the base with the string pulled in. i am so impressed I've tried several different brands and this was the only one that lasted the last week to a few months. Wanted to buy a new one, fingers crossed they haven't changed production.
