Review on πŸ’„ Revlon Photo Ready BB Cream - Light/Medium (30ml) by Jennifer Rogers

This is a terrible BB cream

The color is wrong, the texture is disgusting and it has no staying power. In my opinion, this is like the first generation of BB creams from a long time ago. But nowadays there are so many options with better technology that it would be crazy to go for this one. COLOUR: I chose light-medium because I have a neutral-cool 25 light-medium skin tone. (NC25 at MAC, Medium Beige at Bare Minerals.) While the color can be worn in the sense that it's slightly transparent and therefore dependent on your skin tone, it *oxidizes on me, making my face visibly more orange/warmer than that Rest of my neck etc. TEXTURE: The texture is terrible. It's thick and greasy, like old-fashioned sunscreen. My least favorite part of the day is applying this product because it feels rough and heavy on the skin. This isn't foolproof either. You really need to spread it out or else it will pile up and collect under your eyes or around your nose. So it's not a BB cream to use on the go, which defeats the purpose of using a BB cream in the first place. BBs are meant to make life easier and should be applied with little to no mirror. This is not one of those BBs. STABILITY: ZERO. From the moment you apply this, you can expect it to migrate. It's like it gets a lot more liquid after it's been on your face for a while. Therefore, at the slightest touch, there are puddles and pockets of excess liquid. I've found that when I brush my hair slightly away from my face, crescent-shaped puddles form on my cheeks from the tips of my nails. And if you wear glasses or sunglasses, you can expect to have visible puddles where the pads rest on your nose. Kiss lots of frogs first to find the right one for your skin.
