Review on Hanes Women's Multi-Pack Nylon Brief 🩲 & High Cut Panties for Enhanced SEO by Amber Chandler

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Almost perfect for panties

They are very similar in shape, feel and style to the Bali Classic Comfort Nylon Hi-Cut Briefs which were unfortunately discontinued in 2011 (which was a good replacement for the Warner version which had been discontinued a few years earlier). I've been looking for a replacement for a long time and was very glad I found it. They don't dig in at the waist or leg openings, are silky and very comfortable. However, as the product description states, they come in a random selection of colors and it's impossible to tell which colors you'll receive. Most reviews said they were white in color which would be nice. What I received were mostly dark colors (black, navy, burgundy, purple) which disappointed me. But that's not a complaint, I knew there was a risk. The problem is that despite customer reviews I got the opposite, dark colors bleed and also get lost with washing. Rather than risk ruining a load of laundry, I rinsed the dark colors straight out of the pack in ice water and am very glad I did (see water before and after photos). The stain wasn't too bad and seemed to go away after a few rinses, so I don't think it will be a problem. But the first few rinses also left a thin layer of sticky residue in the sink (see close-up), which I'm also glad it didn't end up on other clothes. This also came off after a few washes. More annoying and unruly is the fact that all dark colors (except black) have white cotton panels in the crotch, which is very unattractive. So I would deduct 2 stars but I am so happy with the style that I only deducted one. And I might even try another order and hope to get lighter colors (but the seller has already informed me that they cannot customize these orders, which is a shame). If you get dark colors I highly recommend rinsing them thoroughly a few times before adding them to a batch of lighter colored clothing.
