Can be used to light up the Division 56 buildings:

As part of our Christmas decorations we have several Division 56 porcelain buildings. They are light on the inside but require a tangle of wires. and proximity to an electrical outlet. While researching online, I read about people using tea lights to light up their buildings. The only downside was that the light stays outside of the building as the hole at the back of the building is too small to put a tealight inside. I decided to give it a try and bought a box of six candles. I removed the outer wrapper from one of the candles, exposing the inside. I could see that if I carefully cut the perimeter of the candle about 5/8" from the bottom, I wouldn't cut anything important to the candle functioning. I was then able to lift the top 2 inches of the candle and expose the LED. Then I pulled the plastic bottle out of the candle and put it back on the LED. Use a small amount of assembly putty. I was able to fit the modified candle flush with the hole in the back of the building. The stick holding the LED reaches the building and gives off a beautiful light that I can change and control remotely. I am very happy with the result and have even ordered more lamps.
