Does venting take a long time?
I bought this pump to inflate light plastic swim rings and a light raft. I had to caulk the vent holes on the nozzle. We lost about 30% of the airflow due to the holes. I have no idea why they were there. Even with closed holes, each item took about 20 minutes to detonate. Also, the power cord is only 2 feet long. You should therefore sit right next to the spout when pumping. I wouldn't want to blow up an air mattress with this pump. It would take a long time.
