Advantages: 1. The machine cleans the air well and removes odors. 2. It has a very quiet low speed for night use. Almost silent, but I have hearing problems and those with better hearing disagree.3. Device in the form of a separate ionizer and a germicidal UV-C lamp. They can be run individually, together, or not at all.4. There is an automatic shut-off option, user-defined after 2, 4 or 6 hours. User can also disable shutdown option.5. The filters fit well in the housing. Blue light is reported to disrupt sleep. I covered the panel with a piece of thin corrugated cardboard for nighttime use. I used thin material because the switches are pressure sensitive and because I could curve the cardboard to the panel. I used tape for the loops and I recommend that you leave some slack on the tape for this purpose.
