Do you like gnomes from the Hobbit movies? Then this is the throw for you, although personally I prefer to use it as a tapestry. The image of Thorin on the left, Kili in the middle and, oddly enough, on the right Bifur (why not Fili? Haters of blondes? He is Kilis' brother). Anyway, I love the fact that there is a gnome decoration/tapestry (I'm just still upset that Fili is missing). The image is acceptable as a tapestry for a room I am remodeling in a more Mediterranean style. I agree with other reviewers of this blanket, it is very soft, especially after washing with fabric softener. Will definitely be ordering another one to keep for future use and ordering a map of Middle-earth to put on the bed to complete the look.
