I originally bought this for our main elves, wanted but other elves are experimenting with this just to see if it would work. Generally very happy with the results. The parts of the shoe are wide enough to give them a stable base. The way they connect, you can also use this item with the Elf Mate by snapping the pants together and then tucking your feet in until the Elf is snug on the inside. They fit standard Elfs better, but I was glad to see that i can make them work for help elves as well since they have next to nothing for them. You CAN also make pants work for elves from the Elves Behavin Badly line, but I wouldn't recommend it because their elves are wider and taller. As a result, the elf isn't standing upright but is partially hunched over, which, while funny, is the point of the Magifriz line. There's also formal wear and plenty of third-party outfits to choose from, so don't be discouraged that pants only work with Regal Elves and Helper Elves.
