Works best for very low viscous liquids

I wouldn't use these for undiluted essential oils. These oils are not viscous enough to break down into the find mist this pump produces.I bought it for very thinned liquids, mostly 90% rubbing alcohol, water or a thin mixture of white glue and water. (75% water, 25% white glue.)All of these fluid mixtures work very nicely for their specific applications.Water I use to moisturize various things (like model airplane tissue to make it stretch) and harden or protect things (which the thinned white glue does) as well as being an antiseptic with the alcohol. The fine mist can be better controlled so you don't get clumping or spotting than with most other sprayers.Liquids about two or three times greater than water will probably clog it. I wouldn't recommend any oils, since it's plastic and some oils can degrade the plastic. Highly thinned white glue comes closest to the maximum viscosity I'd use.If it gets clogged, usually putting it in water and pumping it will clear it. If you're using oils in it, try alcohol to thin them.If used for low viscosity liquids, these work very nicely. If you need something for thicker liquids, I'd go with something that doesn't have such a fine spray. If you don't care about spraying anything, they do make for a nice container with a relatively small mouth. Some places sell eyedroppers that may fit, too. But I'd clip off the tube inside first.

Pros
  • Perfect for spritzing succulents!
Cons
  • I ordered three bottles and only one worked good
