Review on Composite Converter Supports Chromecast DVD Black by Sean Patel

This product works great. 5 stars for the functionality that is there, but it does not match the description. It's supposed to be an HDMI to RCA converter, which means it has to take my Fire TV Stick and plug it into an old TV that doesn't have HDMI ports. So I figured I had a DOA device and returned the first one because nothing happened when I connected it to my TV and connected the Fire TV Stick. But the problem wasn't that it was DOA at all, it was that it converted the RCA signal to HDMI. On a whim, I took an HDMI cable and connected the HDMI port of this unit to a TV and connected the RCA ports to an MP3 player. This is the functionality of this device. It can be used to connect camcorders, DVD players and other devices that don't necessarily have HDMI outputs to TVs or computer monitors that only have HDMI inputs. It's great for that purpose, and I'll probably keep it to myself for connecting my camcorder to an HDMI computer monitor. However, I needed a device that would connect the Fire Stick to my old TV without HDMI ports, and this device just wasn't what I needed.
