I ordered this kit to cover the ports on my Lenovo X230 laptop. I travel a lot with my laptop and wanted to keep foreign objects (like cookie crumbs from the airport cafe, Dorito dust from the kid sitting next to me) from getting into the ports or the cooling system. These cases are great! They are soft and pliable so with a little pressure they fit snugly into the openings. Most lids also have a small pull tab/handle for removal. You can trim the tongue if you want, but I haven't found it necessary yet. All cases are quite suitable for my Lenovo X230. I have two laptop ports that don't have a matching cover: a mini DisplayPort and a Kensington laptop lock. But since this set has more lids than I need and because they are made of soft rubber, I reused the other two lids. I put an extra audio plug in the kensington slot, it's not perfect but it fits well. And I cut the USB cover to fit the mini DP connector. I used a sharp knife and lots of pressure to get a clean cut. One thing you might want to know is that the headphone jack has a larger protruding "button" than the rest. It's sticking out like a foreign object in a punch bowl. I cut mine. You might like it, especially if you remove that plug frequently. All in all a good buy. Enjoy!
