Insert a knob screw through the side that does NOT have a ring light nut. (The union nut is the socket of the screw with the handle) I felt like a dummy when the seller sent me a video showing how it should be done. That's a great light! I love different light colors and light intensities. I'm still tinkering with the remote, but this is user error. Great product for the price and great/quick customer service if you have a problem. GET ONE!
