QUICK UPDATE 12/18/18: The Momentum true wireless headphones offer very good sound quality when listening to music. Variable low, mid and high ranges are crisp and the bass has a nice punch. Also, I really like that the earbuds automatically turn on and connect to the phone when you take them out, and when you put them back in the case, they turn off automatically. They turn on and sync very quickly, which is nice! Unfortunately, I have found an issue that is frustrating me. I don't consider this issue a deal breaker for most, but it's making me consider going back. The Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless headphones are said to have a feature that "ensures lag-free sound reproduction and perfect synchronization between the left and right headphones (NFMI)". The sound is absolutely in sync between the left and right headphones, there are no problems here. I didn't necessarily realize that within 48 hours, but after a few days of experience it became clear that these headphones DO NOT offer true "lag-free sound". I experience a noticeable audio lag when using my new wireless headphones. I may be wrong with the exact time, but while playing, the audio is muted from approximately 0.75 to a maximum of 1.25 seconds. This was a similar issue I had with the Bose SoundSport Free Truly Wireless headphones (although I feel they have slightly inferior audio latency) and ended up forcing me to return them. don't find enough problems to worry. I've spent some time streaming videos using the Netflix app as well as videos downloaded straight to my phone and once again the audio sounds almost perfect. I'm not willing to say for certain that they are 100% audio lag free when watching/streaming videos, they get the job done. Haven't spent time testing making and receiving calls with them yet. I really like these headphones and will continue to test/tinker/troubleshoot to see if the audio lag is a "separate issue" for me, but I'll have to relinquish my 5 star rating and put it at a solid 4 stars out of 5 demote. It's hard for me to call these headphones a "must buy" if they don't deliver zero-latency sound. - Original rating: * This rating is a "first impression" and may change over the next few weeks after more thorough testing. I only had them for 48 hours but my first impressions are positive. The sound quality is very impressive. The Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless headphones are a bit chunky, but they are lightweight and fit well in any ear. I've been waiting for excellent "true wireless" (ie no wires) wireless headphones and may have found a winner. . I'm a huge Bose fan, but the Bose SoundSport Free Truly Wireless headphones have unbearable audio lag when watching videos or gaming, which for me was a deal breaker and an auto return. The new Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless headphones have reliable audio synchronization for videos and games. I'll update this review with a clearer review in a few days, but if anything goes wrong these expensive but quality headphones stay on top. 5 options for "True Wireless Headphones"!
