Well I would give them 4.5 stars but when I opened Amazon to write my review I heard a noise coming from the kitchen. The boy on the counter climbed into a jar of cookies. This means that these stools are much more durable than they are comfortable. However, they are beautiful to the eye. Very easy to assemble. The instructions say 15 minutes per chair, but no. More like 3-5 minutes. Much stronger than I thought. I threw away our old ones because they were very heavy and a two year old knocked them over very easily. And I didn't let her sit on it. I definitely confide in her as long as I keep an eye on her. comfort. They are alright. One day I will buy them new pillows. Or not, depending on how often they are used. But not uncomfortable. Just not as comfortable as a soft fabric like a chair. Apparently.
