Sound quality didn't matter to me for a long time. Mainly because I didn't know any better. I would use the cheapest headphones you can get at your local discount store. A few years ago I got Beyerdynamic T770 80 Ohm headphones as a gift. I would say they were and life changing. I realized how great music is. There were details in the music that I had never heard before. However, they are bulky on the ear and impractical for everyday use in the city. I decided to look for a few IEMs and came across the Final Audio E2000. I've tried several others but the E2000s are the best so far. They have a detailed, balanced sound. The bass is good but not too strong. They are very easy to hear during long sessions. The workmanship is also very comfortable to wear. Some reviews mention concerns about build quality. They don't have reinforcement instead of rope tension. I personally don't know if this will be a problem and only time will tell. At the moment I can only recommend them warmly.
