The suede is definitely not very soft but still gives a high quality look. I actually like it better than regular suede because it probably doesn't get dirty as easily. I wouldn't say it's fully waterproof for submerging it in liquid, but it handles spills pretty well. The fit is great, it's snug and doesn't wobble at all like the Dell XPS 15 model. Finally, you can't go wrong with the included little pouch, it's perfect for my laptop charger and has room for other small items. I was a great purchase, totally recommended!
