Earlier this year I bought a TempurPedic mattress because it was said to be great at relieving pressure points and associated pain. I've slept on an inexpensive memory foam mattress for several years, and over time (and age) I've woken up with hip pain. I haven't done much research on the right type of mattress to relieve hip pain. Instead, I went to a mattress store, explained my concerns, and was referred to TempurPedic. I bought it and it was good. I think the hip pain may have subsided a bit. It wasn't until I came home from vacation and slept in "normal" beds that I realized that TempurPedic wasn't for me. On vacation I didn't notice that my hip didn't hurt in the morning. The first morning after spending the night at home, the hip pain returned. Of course, this was well past their 90 year probationary period, so I'm stuck. I read (too late) that a plush top is best for hip pain. So I searched on Revain and found this topper and good reviews especially for hip pain relief. I've been using it for about a week and this morning I can say I didn't wake up in pain. I'm sure it will come and go but every day without pain is better. I highly recommend trying this topper if you are suffering from hip or even lower back pain.
