I only buy my kids cheap Walmart slippers that wear out after a few months. These slippers are way better! They fit my son perfectly, warm and comfortable. The bottom is firm - not plastic, but a flexible rubber sole. There is a memory foam insert in the sole, so they are comfortable even when worn for a long time. The fluffy outer part of the slippers - the wool textured part - is a little rough and itchy, but the inside is very smooth and soft. There are no seams, corners or edges that could rub against your feet. The cuff around the ankle is snug, but not so tight that it's uncomfortable or constricting. Recently my son got sick and refused to take them off, because it made his feet "feel better". The construction is solid, I could not find any manufacturing defects. All seams are stitched, not glued, so should last a lot longer than cheaper options. The color on my monitor is real.
