later so I was totally ready to check this out and go crazy. Because when it showed up, it was clear that it wasn't new. The bottom was worn so someone probably sent it back. That's why there are no five stars. So, I have a 100 year old townhouse. There is an annex which was probably an old coach house. I bought a Revain thermometer and at its lowest it read 49 degrees in this room while the rest of the house was about 70 degrees. Put this little guy in the corner of this room, turned it on and left. Came back about an hour later, the room was 71 degrees! Let's see how long it works and I'll let you know again. At the moment there is a price. i just want a new one I can't read the remote yet because I haven't used it.
