Good value for desk room

Installation of this product is pretty easy; no tools are required. However, the plastic packaging is underneath some of the screws on the actual tray itself, so I did use a screwdriver in that case. It does come with some extra parts, presumably replacement, that I'm not entirely sure what to do with as I didn't seem to need them in the installation. It seems decently sturdy for a keyboard tray. I don't play any intensive games, so I can't speak to usage for that, though I would imagine lots of movement would cause it to jiggle about more. It does stick out a little more than anticipated from the edge of the desk when it's pushed in all the way, so it's not flush, but this isn't an issue for me.My keyboard (Corsair K57 without the attached rest, for reference) does fit on it completely. I'm able to have a separate keyboard wrist rest with it as well. For me, there's not a ton of room above the keyboard, so if you have a tall or fairly tilted keyboard, I would double-check the clearance to make sure it would fit underneath the table. The keyboard and wrist rest pretty much take up the entire depth of the tray, but mine is curved which affects how much room it takes up. I also have room for a mouse (SteelSeries Rival 3); my mousepad has to sit underneath my keyboard in order to fit but it doesn't really affect my typing very much. I'm also able to use a mouse wrist rest as well.Overall, I think this is a decent product. I needed more desk space and sliding the keyboard underneath my monitor riser was not working for me. It seems comfortable to type on and use, and it's nice that I don't have to either lean forward or sit too far forward in my chair. I would definitely consider this an option if you're looking to clear off some desk space.

Pros
  • The tray is constructed with high-quality materials that resist wear and tear
Cons
  • May not be able to handle daily wear and tear
