Not at all like a work shirt. This is a denim jacket.

I have lived and worn western style work shirts and shirts for several decades, every day from -40f to 112f in all weather conditions. It looks like a linen work shirt in the pictures and videos, and the pockets are the same odd size that doesn't fit a modern phone, but that's where the comparison ends. People say it's good for spring and fall and too warm for summer but they tell me that long sleeve shirts are western style all the time so I still can't tell based on reviews, photos and videos alone . owned or worn. I sent a picture of me in it to someone who sees me in my regular shirts all the time and asked how it looked and they said "looks heavy". And they don't wear work shirts. Once I got over that nasty marketing hassle of everyone selling the same thing (I really want a plain linen shirt with armor pockets) and started looking for a denim jacket, things get better. I added a d30 backplate and it fits in the bag better than most motorcycle backplate bags and I hardly feel it when I'm riding or just hanging out. In the 4 other coats I have, the same plate digs or flexes weirdly, but in this coat it lies flat enough that it doesn't hurt. Pauldrons feel comfortable; can hardly tell it's there. The armor on the elbows is more tactile but not as difficult to bend as other coats. Nice big internal Napoleon pocket. I've never had much use for a bag and it just annoys me; but it is the only real bag. The front pockets match the work shirt size and style, and the left one has a pen hole, which is a nice touch. All the little things that you normally put in your shirt pocket fit in there. The zip is above the waist and the snaps below so it can be tucked in like a shirt, but it's noticeably thick and baggy, not the prettiest. Feeling. I haven't really played around with it to get used to it. Things either work or they don't. Wear it like a denim jacket and you don't care. I agree with the statement "fits true to size". I usually wear XL or XXL shirts and have to wear long tailcoats whenever I can just to get long enough sleeves. in Pakistan and they do these things with a completely different body type. Got this as a 2xl because of the "right size but a bit tight" reviews. denim jacket. If it was thin and more like a real shirt it would be too big and size XL would be perfect. If you like jackets that are tight-fitting and not baggy, choose a normal-sized shirt. Clothing, even with armor. I was riding in a thunderstorm and put this jacket on for a few minutes of rain. It didn't get wet at all, but it didn't stay either. n any kind of real heavy rain; so impregnate before opening. It seems waxy enough that it will continue to work for a while; not as good as a rag or a real raincoat, but probably fine for a city trip. Now for the main reason I bought it. Horseback riding in summer. Here on the flat it was 80-100 degrees Fahrenheit and my "ultra breathable" mesh riding jacket gave me heat stroke and ended up riding the three days of the trip with no jacket or torso armor; I work with the most unlikely of hazard scenarios, relying on South Dakota drivers to be used to bikers enough not to hit me. sell jewelry to make guys look cool and girls hang up their tops more) so i ordered this as soon as i got home. I wore it in 88 degrees, no wind. It doesn't let air through; is not cool If you stand still, you get warm very quickly. They will not forget that you are wearing a coat. Normal work shirts are comfortable for me up to about 102 feet tall. I can comfortably wear this up to about 70 degrees, but then again; I've worn long sleeved and miscellaneous coats year round for most of my life. It's just a denim coat; However they work for you, that's how it will work. However, as I pulled onto the freeway and hit 80mph, I felt a gentle breeze through the sleeves and body fabric; so not very tight. It just takes a lot of wind to get a breeze. I don't think it will be a good ride in 45 degrees. It gets cold. In general. It's a good denim jacket and more comfortable than my other riding jackets I've tried so I keep it to myself. But don't confuse it with a shirt and don't expect it to look like a shirt. beautiful sophisticated style, a denim jacket with motorcycle armor and you will be happy.
