This vest has worked very nicely for me with a couple of caveats. The product description might lead you to believe that is has some sort of quilted fill or insulation. It does not. It does have the pile liner that provides warmth. The second issue, a small one, is that the zipper is reversed. That is that the zipper is on the left side not the right. When you've spent your entire life using right handed zippers, it takes a while to get it together. I like all of the pockets and how they are located.
