August 2021 - I have a GVM 560AS flashlight. The 560AS is a high quality metal case for carrying or holding a flashlight on a stand. It was easy to choose the same brand for this unique lamp. However, there is a clear difference between them. If I saw them side by side without the GVM logo I would say they are from the same manufacturer. Starlight is mostly made of plastic, with the exception of the camera mount. I don't know the reasons for the lightweight plastic other than cost. The included lighting stand is your main lighting stand designed for easy support. I recommend using sandbags, especially for those who want to mount a camera on it. Overall, I don't see how this is going to continue in the long term. To be fair to GVM I will try and use it for a while. I will update this review and overall rating later.
