This dress is so beautiful in real life. It's very well done. Sweater-like material, neither thin nor flimsy. It stretches a little so that it fits the body perfectly. The skirt is flared with pleats and looks so cute - it's a great twirling dress! My granddaughter wore it for a photo shoot and it really stands out. She can't wait to wear it again for a special occasion. She usually wears a size 6 or 7, so I got a size 6/7 blue dress. It fits perfectly but not much room to grow. It's also a bit on the short side. If you want the dress to last another season I would buy a size up. But now it fits perfectly, looks amazing and looks like a dress that would cost a lot more. Highly recommended - we are very happy with this purchase. (The website says I bought this 7/8 - I bought it 6/7. Just want to be clear!)
