I was looking for a hair towel made from a material other than microfiber that worked just as well. The material is preferably more environmentally friendly / sustainable. I got mixed reviews about the absorbency of this bamboo fiber towel and decided to give it a try. Overall absorbency is excellent. I have found that when I remove the towel my hair is already damp (about 15-20 minutes because I do other things in the morning to pull myself together). Naturally my hair is fine and wavy/curly so drying/soaking times may vary for those with thicker hair. The towel fits my head perfectly, neither tight nor loose. The towel has an elastic band and button closure - the elastic band is a loop located inside the smaller end of the towel where your ends meet and the button is located on the larger end of the towel at the base of the neck. The rubber band is simply and securely placed on the button. For washing - I wash with towels but dry on a rope. Overall I love this towel cover and am planning to buy a second one.
