These shoes appear to be built to last. The mesh upper is perfect for summer running and the outsole feels well attached and has good traction. I ordered them a little larger for my four year old grandson to grow up, but he used them as a last resort (and because he thought they looked cool!) and they worked well even though they were too big. (They're a size 11 but usually wear half a size smaller.) Traditional shoelaces aren't his thing yet, but he'll have to learn at some point - maybe this summer when he's 5 years old, that's it!
