Pretty handy but room for improvement

I have this anti slip tape 4 The back stairs of my house. I have a mother in law who has to climb a wooden ladder to get to her and in winter when she gets wet it gets very slippery and slippery. I've put anti-slip tape on it before, but the tape has started to peel off the edges, so I plan to lay it down and use clamps to make sure it stays in place. I love the fact that it has a really thick grit to the touch so it sticks a lot better than some of the others I've used before. However, I don't like the fact that it's only 2 inches wide because the last tape I use works pretty well at 4 inches wide. Also, this only comes with 16ft so with my two foot pieces of griptape it only covers about 8ft so I'll have to buy another pack. What I like about it is that it's really easy to use, packaged in a clear plastic sleeve that's easy to open. Signing up is easy and I just measured it with my regular pair of scissors and cut it in two. The plastic backing is easy to peel off and easy to stick on. It doesn't come with one of those rollers that some others come with to put really good pressure on what you're applying, but luckily I kept mine from the last one I ordered. It would be nice if he came with one of them. Let's hope that with the poor grip in the sand and the extra bracing to secure it actually stays on the stairs for more than a few months.
