I did further research after my previous review of this chair. When I came to update my review after 2 days, my review was gone. Revain emailed me that my review was approved. No further emails were sent regarding the removal of my review. I'll try to do it quickly as I don't have the time or energy to blow this product any further. Pros - good feeling Cons - very very very very poor build quality (genuine Chinese product - first picture) Uneven screw hole. The holes on one of the armrests lined up perfectly with one side. It's not the one in the picture. - Second image) Uneven chair. I'm willing to bet it's because of the jagged screw holes in the first picture. I paid extra for the aesthetic and I feel like I've been cheated. - Third photo) Another example of poor build quality. There are many more examples of this on a chair, but I've gone with the most obvious. - Fourth photo) The filling of the chair comes out. I spent about $100 and got this!? Terrible build quality - Fifth photo) Dent on leather heel. It was most likely from the factory as the box was in pretty good condition. Another Chinese factory. Very bad packaging of the parts in the box. Chair casters were scattered all over the box. Quite a mess. There was a large cut at the bottom of the chair pocket it was in. However, the item was not scratched. Another factory scam. - The montage was ridiculous. I suggest skipping the instructions if you are considering purchasing this chair. Install the chair on the wheel last and not the second step. Saves an hour of fighting. If the holes on the armrest don't match the chair, screw the armrest directly to the chair and not the base. This step will indicate if your product is defective. Saves another hour - There was a thin layer of dust on the parts of the product. Since it is quite expensive, this is unacceptable. My advice is stay away from this product. I hit this product a lot harder than last time as I want everyone to know not to fall into this trap. For $100 you can get chairs far superior to this one in terms of build quality. Due to time and frustration reasons, I decided against sending it back. I hope my decision doesn't backfire. (Due to the possibility of this post being deleted, I've backed it up.) Another update: After I contacted Revain, they sent me a replacement chair. This chair had screw holes that were actually lined up. It also lacked cosmetic flaws compared to the original. Before I thought I was out of the blue, I checked the seat height adjustment. Well, that's where the good news ends. It was so defective that the seat height could be increased, but when you sit on a chair it falls off a lot and "bounces" a little. I am currently giving this chair 3 stars as it promises quite a bit, however flaws are not uncommon. I don't use seat height adjustment, so this issue doesn't bother me personally. Customer service 5 stars, armchair 2.5 stars.
