Today I tuned in to the first NFL game of the season and the reception was so bad I couldn't even see the game! (By the way, I was using an amplifier at the time, so it wasn't because I was too far from the TV tower. And remember, it was a local station). I've tried everything to get an image that doesn't break every 10 seconds, including turning the amplifier off and using the "omnidirectional" antenna only. I tried mounting the antenna on the window, held it over my head (not much better). My wife was watching OTA in the living room and she only has an 8 inch square antenna hanging on the wall at about arm's length and I didn't even see the picture cropping while the TV was in my man cave (same Floor). "Broadcast is not available now" was displayed with this new antenna! The return period was 2 months and it would be a waste of money and time to send it to China for repair. I guess I'll just buy another 8" square wall mount. So much for the technical improvements. Pity!
