I bought these to dry my face after washing. All of our towels become shaggy and covered in fine hair, either from washing with items containing cat hair or regular shaggy items going through the wash. These things on old towels tend to stick to my face and eventually get into my eyes and I spend a lot of time in a large mirror trying to get them out. Lint-free cloths seemed like a good solution when I wasn't washing them. But - when I first used it, it shed clumps of turquoise fibers all over my face - about 4-5 little clumps. I ended up removing them manually. The next day I tried another fabric - same problem. It seems very annoying to have to wash those few rags yourself to get all the lint (or whatever) off them, but that's my next step. Dissatisfied. You can buy plain washcloths and use them for towels or whatever.
