Review on 24Pcs SumDirect Color Changing Submersible LED Mini Lights - Waterproof Flashing Lights for Paper Lanterns, Balloons, Florals, Weddings, Halloween, Christmas, Party Decorations, Centerpieces by Robin Williams

LED birthday party lights will serve this purpose.

I don't think the seller somehow stated the lifespan but one review says 5 day service? I bought 24 packs to use in balloons for a birthday party. The balloons that come with the store's standard helium kit are not large enough to support the weight of the lamp placed in the balloon. However, I used fishing line and attached the lights to the balloon knot and it worked fine. Packaging was ok, plain plastic bag, no instructions (if that matters to you). All the bulbs worked but after about 2 hours of use they started to fail and at the end of their life they could not switch between all colors. Red only glowed in one color, and it slowly faded on and off. So the lights served the purpose, they didn't work the way I'd like in the balloon (big balloons work fine), but I was able to find a solution. They are not very bright so using them in a well lit area is not ideal, the darker the room the better. All 24 in the package worked. Around the 2 hour mark ALL the 24s started to fail so I find it impossible for them to last 5 days as stated in a previous post. At the end of the day they were about 0.50 cents each and they did what I needed. Again, I'm not sure how these people claim to still be working after a few hours, I think "working" is a relative term. That means work for me. The product flashes brightly in all colors just as it did when I left it on for a period of time. IF the product doesn't work like it did for me after a few hours, it's not "working". So let's summarize. If you use it in a dark place, expect about 2-2.5 hours for it to FULLY WORK, after that they just "work" with fading brightness and red.

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
  • Sad tech
