I bought two of these for my kitchen island. They look great with my black granite countertops. I only gave them 3 stars because they don't seem to be very durable. When I first sat down on one of them, I tried to move and lean on the footrest and heard a crack. I weigh 200 pounds and the max weight is 275 pounds. Also, the footrest is too low for my comfort level. The pillow is nice and comfortable. If I had the chance to sit on them and try them out for myself I would probably spend more money on a higher quality stool. Update: The footrest broke in half when my husband sat on the stool trying to gain weight. on the footrest. I will try to make the footrest stronger.
