Review on 🐢 Optimized Natural Limited Ingredient Diet for Adult Dogs - Whole Grain Dry Dog Food by Andrea Scoggin

Free?!? Rather FINALLY!

I keep a journal of what I've learned about dog food and what recipe would be perfect for my dog. I WANT grain. I want taurine and interchangeable protein sources from the same brand. I hope it's free. My dog is still transitioning so I don't know if this would be the right choice for him but I have to say. Lose something here. One source of protein, recipes with/without grains, vegetarian and flexarian options. PROTEIN! read about it. It's okay to have pea protein in dog food, but what I found out about its inclusion made me look for brands without it. What is not easy, let me tell you. What's more, not only does each ingredient serve a beneficial purpose, Freely also offers you the opportunity to connect with their certified pet nutritionists. I think that in itself is a testament to the level of quality they desire in their recipes, but also their desire to help you discover exactly what your pet needs in terms of nutrition. Let me put it this way. The credit card company offers you a financial advisor to help you get rid of your debt and plan for your future. I'm personally not aware of anything like that, which I don't think is coincidental. Credit card companies need you to get into debt because that's how they make $. Unlike credit card companies and the like, Baby Dragon doesn't seem threatened by an educated pet parent. The provision of free nutritional support by certified staff is proof (IMHO) that informed consumers are seen as partners on this journey. Through their guidance and support, they give you the information to know what is best for your pet. My dog is sensitive to lamb. It makes him itchy and he gets discoloration on his tummy so that's the only bummer for me right now because it eliminates one of the recipe options Freely has to offer. I really hope Freely is everything they seem. I'm so sick of conflicting ingredients found in other brands (e.g. check rx pet food for kidney disease. I've learned from my late dog's health issues that phosphorus should be avoided or minimized, but it still is contained in the formula specially developed for kidney diseases). . I'm not claiming to be an expert, just knowing what I've learned from educated sources and can't believe how misleading we are from these other well known brands (and sometimes even our veterinary suppliers). They are pets that eat regular big store food, which is great. But for those of us who have pets, we need options, we need education, and we need quality. Freely could be our knight in shining armor. AT LAST. I hope my humble opinion helps you in some way. My statements/opinions above are mine only, based on my experiences with my dogs health over the past few years. Of course, you should do your research because like most things in life, pet food is not OSFA. Many Thanks. thank you for reading and caring for your furry baby to give him the best life possible.
