I was able to read the SD card from my camera at relatively high speed through the USB-A port or the full-size USB-C port on this device. The ability to connect to full-size USB-A, Micro-USB, or USB-C ports makes this reader very versatile and can work well with both old and new computers. However, I ran into an odd bug, which is why I gave the product 4 stars instead of 5: my transfer speed from the same SD card to the same computer was half as fast with a USB-C port as it was with a full-sized USB-A -Port I don't know any technical reason for this limitation, so it seemed quite strange. As you can see from the attached images, I got 85MB/s with a full size USB-A port and only 39MB/s with a USB-C port. This transfers the same set of files from the same SD card to the same computer, so the only difference was which USB port was used. It was quite odd that the USB-C port was slower. Anyway, I expected it to be quicker.
