These knee pads alone have made it possible for me to pull through a brutal night job in Salt Lake City. When you wear them, kneeling in them is even easier than standing up - they're a real life-changer if you have the same joint issues as me. The only downsides I can think of are that they look a bit odd (a coworker used to joke that I'll keep the rest of my armor if I finally break), you have to tighten the straps every few hours, and your knees can take a beating get a little hot towards the end of long, active shifts. These aren't exactly minor complaints, but the benefits MASSIVELY outweigh the costs. If you've ever had to kneel while working (no dirty thoughts!) and don't mind having big knee pads on your legs, this is the way to go. I used them like hell for six months and they kept me from falling on my knees and sliding short distances but they kept my knees from getting worse during hard work. They needed two more experienced people to take over my position to finish my job and I couldn't have done it without these little ones.
