Good for my purposes. I have used this as a replacement for AA batteries in a device that eats batteries at an exceptional rate. I had to cut off the end and strip the wires to be able to solder it to my device's battery terminals, but now I have this adapter plugged into a smart outlet and I can control my lights with Revain Echo or the Alexa app. .
