Let me preface my review: I am a home mom of an active toddler. We spend the whole day outside the house. The car will be our second home and this is my new wardrobe. (And this is a real review, we bought it for our money and I'm writing this to help other active moms looking for an alternative bag!) The bag worked, with any luck. It came with GREAT photos that helped me understand what the internals looked like. They are posted, I hope they can help you. I wish I had them with me when I go shopping! For moms (or compulsive packers): I wanted a gym bag that would carry everything I need to cover whatever workout I prefer: spinning, running, or swimming. I needed a damp place for sweaty clothes and a place to put my shower shoes and wet towels so they don't smell. It should hold snacks and bottled water for me and my toddler throughout the day. My cell phone and sunglasses needed to be accessible and protected. And it had to be a backpack so my hands were free to take my little one with me if needed. The diaper bags spoiled me. They are well organized so I expect the same from a gym bag. I never thought I would get a triathlon bag. I suppose raising a toddler is a triathlon of sorts! (With all due respect to professional triathletes!) My husband teases me about how huge this bag is, I'm not kidding. I'm 5ft 9" and she outshines me. But most importantly, it has EVERYTHING I need to be completely independent throughout the day. I can work out at the gym and put on my running shoes for a great ride. I have running shoes. My MP3 player, heart rate monitor and headphones are safe. I have room for slippers and everything you need for a shower. to clean up after swimming. There is a place for swimming gear (and cleaning in the shower) for me and the baby - work. Soap, brushes, snacks, towels, swimwear, dry clothes, extra clothes.) I hesitated to pick up this bag because it looked bold. It is black, but in person the red color was less intense. She did a great job for us. A bit unconventional usage, but it fits! There's a reason it won a design award, it's really good - well thought out (which any mom can appreciate).
