To understand how they work in combination with Auxbeam LED bulbs you really need to remove one of the headlights, otherwise it's difficult. However, once you understand how the clips fit into the bulb, how they fit into the headlight socket, it's easy. The black plastic sleeve is removed from the Auxbeam unit by twisting and pulling to the left. Slide these metal clips onto the bulb so the square portion on the base of the bulb rests on the o-ring. Then put the black plastic sleeve back on, press and twist. The collar can only move in one direction, there are small protrusions on the lamp body that go through the slots on the collar. The clip has a small square tab (see photo) that should be next to the part on the collar that keeps it from rotating. Once you have that you can place it in the headlight block. Place the bulb crescent side up (see photo) and into the socket so that the two identical side projections on the clip (see photo, green arrows) are next to the screws in the headlight socket, then turn clockwise to allow the projections to fall under the screws. If not sure, try again. They're not very tight, but they're tight enough and shouldn't wobble. It should be noted that I had to remove the headlight assembly from the car (on the driver's side only) to have enough room to install it. There is a video that explains how to remove the headlight. Additionally, the Auxbeam F-16's LED lights were so bright and the light so diffused that it blinded oncoming drivers, even when lowered as far as possible. I ended up buying C63 AMG headlight clusters to replace the stock halogen headlights with reflector. (Not installed yet, will be updated.) UPDATE: C63 AMG style (projector) headlight clusters are perfect, with nice sharp light cutoff. I do not recommend installing it in a reflex housing.
