I stumbled upon Manyo Factory Pure Cleansing Oil quite by accident - its little bottle was for guests of a really nice AirBnb I stayed at a while ago, along with various Korean face masks. I was initially hesitant to use it as I had never used a cleansing oil before and was concerned it would irritate my very sensitive combination skin as does about 75% or more of the products I've tried. But in the middle of our stay I decided to give it a try. I enjoyed using it so much that the next few nights I used it again and, not noticing any pimples, took the plunge and ordered a full size. I've used all kinds of makeup remover products including facial wipes, micellar water. and cleansing milk. But since using this cleansing oil, I have no desire to go back to these other methods. What I love about the Manyo Factory Cleansing Oil is that it removes makeup much more thoroughly than any of the other methods above and still leaves a residue. My skin feels soft and hydrated — not stripped and still a bit messy like makeup wipes usually do (although they're by far the best "lazy" method). It also has a light citrus aroma, very pleasant but not overpowering. Although I have sensitive eyes that sting from many makeup removers and cleansers, my eyes have never hurt after using this cleansing oil to remove eyeshadow, eyeliner and foundation, but admittedly I've never tried mascara to remove. My mascara is waterproof, so I still use waterproof eye makeup remover on a cotton pad when I wear mascara. I'm not sure if a cleansing oil will remove them properly, but I don't like the idea of rubbing oil into my lashes and rinsing them off like that (personal preference). Also, as mentioned, this oil does not break out on me at ALL, which is always amazing considering how sensitive my skin is. If anything it has helped improve my skin as using the cleansing oil in my double skin cleansing makeup remover routine seems to cleanse my skin more thoroughly while keeping it adequately hydrated. I usually use a cleansing oil with my regular cleanser, but on days when I don't wear makeup and don't double clean I've experimented with Manyo Factory Cleansing Oil as the sole cleanser and it works really well too. The factory recommended cleansing oils for me, I tried several others including some of my favorite high-end beauty brands. But honestly, this Manyo Factory oil is superior to anything I've tried, so I'm sticking with it. If this is your first time using a cleansing oil, I highly recommend researching online for the best methods/guides. . It's a little different than using a cleanser, and doing research before I started using cleansing oils helped me avoid making mistakes.
