These nail stickers are terrible. We followed the directions exactly. I opened the package and used the stickers straight away (but why? do they "spoil"?). Tweezers were used to remove the sticker from the backing. The decal IS torn 90% of the time half the time, especially on large designs or on designs that aren't a circle (ie most). So your unicorn is missing a horn, legs, or some sort of torn appendage. After about 6 tries we finally got one per nail safe and sound. As soon as we covered it with clear nail polish, it bulged and wrinkled. Grrr. Removed, tried again, this time with a different brand of clear nail polish. The same thing. Tried it again with nail polish and clear coat. The same thing. As the clear top dries it appears to level again, but wrinkles are clearly visible, especially around the edges, although the decal was perfectly even when applied. I am unhappy and my previously excited 5 year old birthday boy is upset. Note: Most of the really cute unicorn designs are WAY big for a child's finger. They barely fit on my thumbnail and I have decent long/wide nails. It was a waste of $8. look elsewhere
