It's hot in Texas right now and my other fairly new microfiber blanket was too hot. Most cotton blankets are white or tan so I was happy to find a navy blue cotton thermal blanket at a reasonable price. I washed in cold water and added fabric softener during the rinse cycle. Some build up on the dryer screen but I expected that. I have a queen bed, but I always take king comforters. It's quite large and I don't see any noticeable shrinkage. Cotton Clinic has emailed us several times, for which I am very grateful. The texture is pleasant, the ceiling seems durable. If it were softer it probably wouldn't hold up, but it's soft enough for me and I'm sure it will only get better with more washings. Duvet when unfolded. I recommend making the factory plastic ties much more noticeable - that was the only thing that bothered me.
