What a disappointment (reference images included). Having worked with electrics and electronics all my adult life, it's easy to spot poor quality design, materials and solutions. Unfortunately, that's the case. It is advertised as a wall light that can either be wall mounted to an existing junction box or mounted to a bare wall and plugged into a standard 120 volt outlet. The hardware needed to complete the last part isn't there, and forget to put a lightbulb in one of them. The wire in the cable is 18-20 gauge and can melt if it doesn't short circuit/fire at that current. However, if you only use fluorescent or LED bulbs this shouldn't be a problem, but I would label them as such to avoid any danger in the future. These lights also lack a backplate or drywall hardware for mounting to a bare wall, requiring the hardware to be purchased separately. Also, when assembling the mounting bracket to the base, the lock washer fell apart and wouldn't let it screw to the plate, so again inferior materials. warning
